Does anyone else find Scott Brown's hero reception at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, DC this week deliciously ironic?
After all, he publicly disagrees with the conservatives on at least three hot button issues -- abortion, gay marriage and universal healthcare.
Brown is pro-choice and opposes overturning gay marriage in Massachusetts.
He also opposes a constitutional amendment prohibiting gay marriage.
He voted for "socialized" healthcare in Massachusetts.
He identified himself as an independent when he ran for U.S. Senator.
Why was he celebrated at CPAC this week?
For that matter, why was he invited?
